Summer Vacation Mode

 

Hey everyone!  I am officially on Summer Vacation now, and I have been in that mode.  If you keep up with my website, I apologize for posting my bible verses and words of wisdom so late.  It's been late nights and I've been out, and spending time with my grandma(she's visiting from New York).  I will try my best to post earlier now that I'm on vacation.

 

I hope you are all enjoying the start of the summer.  Have fun, get a tan, spend time with loved ones, and don't waste the vacation you have because, trust me, it will go by before you know it.  Enjoy your weeks and God bless!

Our God is an Awesome God!

Wednesday I woke up with a cold, and boy was it rough.  I couldn't stay home Wednesday or Thursday though, because I had to finish my geometry final.  Phew!  It was tough going to school sick, but I made it, and my mom rewarded me with a day off today because it was just a fun day at my school.  Thankfully, I woke up this morning feeling so much better!  I still have a cough, but otherwise, I feel good!  Praise Jesus for that!!  Then, my poor sister got food poisoning yesterday, and it was not pretty.  But she woke up today feeling better as well!!!  Another praise!  Just a couple examples of how awesome our God really is!

I only have one more full day of school left, Tuesday, and then I will be on Summer vacation!  I'm super excited, which I've mentioned probably in all of my blog posts, but I really am excited :P.  God's joy has fulfilled me today, and I hope it has to all of you as well.  Have a great Friday,  everyone!

And a happy early Memorial Day to all as well!  Thank you so much to all our soldiers that fight for our country each and every day.  God bless you and your families, and God bless America! <3

Just Keep Swimming!

Hey everyone!  Sorry I haven't blogged for a while.  I guess I have just been focusing more on my actual website recently.  So, I'm sure you've all seen the movie, Finding Nemo?  Well, my favorite character is Dory, and I love it when she sings to Marlin, "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming!"  And I've been saying that a lot to myself recently because as you know I'm in my last few days of school, and boy!  Am I holding on by the most frail root!  I can't wait for vacation!

I have really been telling myself to sick to it, and stay strong through my last few days.  I hope all of you are doing the same!  Just remember that God's got this, and He is going to stick with you through even the very last rounds of the fight!  Keep holding up your boxing gloves!  Love to all and God Bless! :)

Rest? Yes, please!

Rest?  Yes, please!

 I finally have a day of rest today!  My trip with the band got cancelled because of bad weather, but I was happy to hear that because I had a busy day yesterday.  Cumberland Life Festival(see previous posts) was lots of fun, but it was surely tiring!  There were so many little ones that came to my group's station!  But I enjoyed it, and today I just laid in bed and watched a whole season of Boy Meets World(it's an amazing show, by the way).  It was terrific!

Also, I am coming down to my last week of school!  We get out June 1st, but a lot of my days left are fun days :).  I can definitely feel Summer getting closer!  I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekends.  God Bless <3

My Head Won't Stop Spinning!

Hey everyone!  Sorry I didn't post yesterday.  It was a crazy day, and not a very fun one.  Today was better.  I had horseback riding, and that is always fun, so that made up for yesterday.  My week still isn't going to slow down though.  I have Cumberland Life Festival on Friday(for my school), which is also my sister's birthday.  On Saturday, I'm going on an all-day trip with the middle school band.  I just want to SLEEP!!!!!  I thought the end of a school year was supposed to be chill and relaxed and laid back, but it's the exact opposite.  My schedule is crammed with school activities, my sister's graduation, outside of school activities.  Then I get home late, take a shower, scarf down a snack, and go to bed.  Phew!  Just typing all of this makes me even more tired.  Sometimes I just need to sit down, have a good cry, eat popcorn, watch a romance movie, get 12 hours of sleep, and then I'll be better.  But do I have time for that?  NO!

In the end I know God is gonna get me through my busy schedule, but I still can't wait for Summer vacation.  Only 10 days left!

A Fresh Start!

A Fresh Start :)

 

A Monday is like a fresh start. It may not always be as fresh as you wish, but we learn to deal and move on.  Today was a good Monday, and to me that is like a green light.  A good start to a new week means a good week, so I can hit the gas and move forward.  I now only have two Mondays left, and then I will be on Summer vacation, which I am super excited for!

 

However, to all of you who wish their Monday could've been a little bit better, just sit down, cry if need-be, have some fattening food, and sing Annie's "The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow"!  Know that God isn't going to overload you, and tomorrow is a new day.  Just the word Tuesday sounds good :D.  One day down, 4 to go!  Keep up the hard work everyone!

Monday? No thanks!

Monday Tomorrow...Ughh!

My thoughts every Sunday evening: Monday tomorrow? No!  That means I have to set my alarm again, go to school for almost 8 hours, do homework in the afternoon, and not be able to finish the show I was watching because I had to go to bed early.  Yeah... not my kind of fun.  I almost never have any luck with Mondays.  My hair won't look good, all my classes will be boring, I'll get paired up with a weird kid in class.  It's never fun.

But then there are the good Mondays, when I have an amazing hair day and get lots of compliments on it, I'll get to miss out on my least favorite class, and I'll get paired up with my best friend.  Those are the days I do my happy dance.  So let's all have a good Monday tomorrow.  Try to look at the glass as half-full, and know that you'll have a happy dog waiting for you when you get home, a pantry full of food to eat, a comfy bed wide open for you to jump into, and another good day ahead!

Encouragement on a Saturday Morning

 Good Saturday Morning!  I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday mornings so far.  It's finally a nice day here where I live, and I'm enjoying it!  There is something about a sunny Saturday that makes me feel so happy!  It's like a breath of fresh air after a long school week.

Saturdays are like a day to regroup for me.  I can clean, put everything back in order, relax, eat, and just start new!  I don't know what I would do without weekends.

First Blog!

Thank Goodness It's Friday!

 Hey, it's my first blog post!  I'm super excited, not only because it's my first post, but also because it's Friday!  It was a quick week and a good week, but Fridays give me such a sense of peace.

I have started this blog because of a project I'm doing in school(I'm in 8th grade by the way).  It's called Genius Hour, and all the students in my class had to pick a project to do that was awesome and that would help you make your mark on the world.  So I have chosen to become an encourager.
